About Us

Hanicke Robins Sanderson provides businesses with experienced and creative PR and marketing support.

We take time to really get to know you, your business and the landscape in which you work before developing a strategy that will deliver on your objectives – and then some!

When we started, we vowed to look for new ways to engage, focusing on linking clients directly to audiences.

The combined experience of our directors working in different roles and across different sectors means we know what works, but we also enjoy developing new ways that work too. From organising conferences and press trips through to lead research and literature and digital production, not to mention media management, we’ve been there and we’ve done it better.

Our current clients are based across the UK and we also have some in Europe too.

Our specialist subjects

While our creativity knows no limits, it’s fair to say that we are best known for our B2B events and marketing support.

We have an ongoing programme of conferences and events with deliberately challenging content and excellent networking opportunities. We also design and deliver client-specific B2B campaigns.

We have also completed a number of successful B2C campaigns, and some of our B2B work includes complementary consumer campaigns.

Our clients are involved in everything from manufacturing and retail, to the environmental industries, construction, energy and more.

They include SMEs, trade associations, membership organisations and global businesses.

Our team

Paul Sanderson, our curator of us and events

Paul Sanderson Hanicke Robins SandersonPaul’s background is in journalism, so it’ll come as no surprise to hear his default setting is to challenge the status quo. In recent years he has developed new and creative events, and his eye for a venue means delegates are always impressed. Although back in his native Liverpool, he has lived in various place around the UK and abroad gaining lots of ideas along the way. He’s got a way with words, and can chair a conference keeping even the most wayward of speakers on time and on track.

Adrienne Robins, our curator of creative communications

Adrienne RobinsLike Paul, Adrienne started out as a journalist, but has spent more years than she’ll admit in PR & marketing. Creative, enthusiastic, a little bit geeky (or maybe that’s more than a bit) and a lover of lists to keep everyone on track, Adrienne’s nose for a PR or social angle is better than a truffle hunting hound in forest.

Alex Bean, our assistant curator of communications and events

Alex joined the team direct from uni and hasn’t had a moment to look back. Her days are now filled with copywriting and social media training – and lists. Always lots of lists. For her part, Alex is ensuring the office is well supplied with brownies (the edible type) and putting limits on the amount of time Paul insists on listening to BBC 6 Music.

Our location

We are in the creative hub that is Vanilla Factory just off Liverpool’s iconic Bold Street. And we love it.

Liverpool’s got it all going on at the moment, and we’re happy to be part of it. We don’t need to be behind the whole Northern Powerhouse movement, we are helping to make it happen. And if there’s any way we can support our local business communities – we’re in.
